Book a consultation with a our plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and suitability for the procedure. He will conduct a comprehensive medical evaluation, including blood tests and 3D imaging.
You may need to stop smoking and avoid specific medications, to prepare for the surgery.
Plan your travel and accommodation in Turkey, ensuring you have a comfortable place to recover post-surgery.
The procedure begins with the administration of anesthesia to ensure comfort during surgery. In general, the operations is performed under general anesthesia. But depending on the area, local anesthesia may be sufficient.
Inconspicuous, small incisions are made in the areas to be treated.
A tumescent solution is injected into the treatment area to reduce bleeding and facilitate fat removal.
Our surgeon inserts a thin tube called a cannula through the incisions. After that, he loosens and suctions out the fat deposits.
The incisions are closed with sutures, and dressings are applied to protect the area.
To prepare for your belly fat removal surgery, you should do the following:
Do not eat or drink after midnight the night before your surgery.
Inform the surgeon about your health condition and any medication/supplements that you’re taking. We advise you to not take any blood thinners.
Stop smoking and drinking alcohol as they result in a risk of increased bleeding during surgery.
Do not apply any moisturizers on the body and remove any piercing, jewelery or contact lenses.

Bruising, swelling, and soreness are some of the most common side effects. They peak after 1-2 days but should start subsiding after 1-2 weeks.
Numbness may occur because of swelling for 1-2 months, which compresses the nerves.
Friction burns can also occur because of the back-and-forth movement of the cannula.
Small bumps can develop in the surgical area, as the body is trying to get rid of the injured fat cells left behind after surgery.
Infection
Seroma (collection of fluids under the skin)
Hematoma (blood pools outside the blood vessels)
Blood clots in the leg and lungs
Fat embolism (fat cells block the blood vessels)
Changes in skin colour
Allergic reaction to the general/local anaesthetic
Many patients have liposuction and a tummy tuck together. This helps tighten the skin. If you’ve lost a lot of weight or had multiple pregnancies, you may be left with loose skin and fat.
You can get liposuction, tummy tuck in Turkey and breast surgery together as a part of the mommy makeover. These surgical procedures will rid you of excess fat and sagging, excess skin in the breasts and abdomen.
A surgeon may recommend fat grafting, where fat from the abdomen is transferred to other areas of the body. This operation can also be a part of a BBL in Turkey. You can also get cosmetic dentistry and other cosmetic surgeries while you’re in Turkey for liposuction.
Recovery time after liposuction depends on how much was removed and where. Most patients feel sore, swollen and bruised for the first three days. Painkillers are prescribed to manage this. Wearing compression garments helps control swelling and supports the treated areas.
You can usually resume light activities after 3–5 days, but avoid strenuous activities. Swelling will go down, but it will still be there for a few weeks.
Most patients can return to work after one to two weeks. You can walk again if your doctor says it’s OK, but avoid high-impact activities. Swelling usually goes completely away after 6 months.
